Bleu - Orlando: Reviews & Ratings
I waited at the hostess stand for a while before a bus boy said someone would be with me soon. I was sat outside(no umbrella). I guess my waitress was overwhelmed she stopped by twice saying she would take my order shortly. The wings were ok and the chips and salsa were above average. The star of the meal was the swashbuckler had three and was so worth the price. My waitress did bring an umbrella over to me and recommended the tre leches over the key lime. It was fine. I would return for the chips and swashbuckler
I ate lunch here both days and had poolside beers. The service was excellent. On the first day, I had a Pressed Burger for lunch ($26). For the quality, the burger was probably not expensive enough. It was thick, almost too thick to bite, but it could have used a pinch of salt. I was drinking Surplus APA beer all day, which was delicious. I also had a Strawberry Oasis, which was also delicious. On the second day, I tried the cucumber cooler, which was refreshing. Lunch day 2 was the Caribbean fish sandwich ($30). Again, for the hunk of flaky fish I received with that delicious sauce, it was absolutely worth it. If I had to choose, the fish was better by far. FYI, the poolside and the restaurant side are different tabs, so if you’re getting a lot of poolside drinks, keep that in mind. There’s also an 18% gratuity built into the bill. On the first day, it started raining with lightning, so they closed the pool. Three people offered me an umbrella to walk to the door. The service was impeccable.
A little hidden treasure by the pool. I had seen the menu had fish Tacos, and I went on a mission to go here. The fish taco were delicious! We also had chicken quesdillas and a few cocktails which were also fabulous. The bartender, Tom was wonderful. It was a very nice, quiet hidden treasure!
Good food for being a poolside restaurant. The ropa vieja nachos are unique and delicious. The fish tacos are delicious, not heavy but filling. The burger with bacon was on point. Unfortunately, the fajita in the quesadilla was chewy. Our waiter was great.
If you want to sit down and enjoy a sunny hot day, this would be the restaurant to pick at the Ritz-Carlton. We got seated right away and the pace of the meal was good. Our server was not great, since he took a while to come to our table, spilled ice on our table, did not refill our water and forgot to bring the condiments we asked. As for the food, it is overpriced but that is what you expect while dining at a high end hotel. We ordered the classic burger with caesar salad, the churrasco quesadilla, the classic burger with fries and a pitcher of farm fresh sangria. I was the only one that enjoyed the meal and the sangria. My burger was cooked well and the caesar salad even though it was small had a good dressing and good parmesan cheese. The sangria was light, refreshing and not overly sweet. The great ending to our meal with the sunny weather.
Got nothing bad to say about this place. It is a pool bar at the Ritz - so it is overpriced for pretty simple food but the food is good. Had the quesadilla and at a different time the fish tacos. Both were good and get delivered to your chair at the pool. Good variety of drinks as well - service at the pool is very quick.
Besides the fact that is beautiful, the water is perfect, and the perfectly comfy chairs.. the staff is very attentive but not over bearing, the food is always so fresh and tasty. Add in the gorgeous view and you’re set for an excellent pool day at Blue
Outside pool setting. Large food portions. Good drinks. Great service. 18% tip automatically added to bill tho. Ritz-Carlton so expect to overpay,
